Scope of the Job:

This position is located at company headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. As the associate scientist you will perform a wide variety of laboratory analyses to support the manufacturing and releasing of a chemical product.

You will be responsible for:

Testing of chemical components or products involving the use of major laboratory instruments and equipment. This includes: HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/VIS, as well as utilizing wet chemicals skills.

Analytical reviews of data to ensure calculations are complete and accurate.

Understanding and complying with all corporate safety, environmental and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational / departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

We seek a scientist with 2 or more years of related experience and/or training.

We seek a professional from the contract manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.

We seek a professional with a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
