Manager Revenue Cycle
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Scope of the Job:
This position is based in the Woodlands, Texas; a resort community located just outside of Houston. You will, in conjunction with practice management staff, contribute to the day to day operations on all issues related to the reimbursement and revenue cycle function. You will work with practice specific business offices on both revenue cycle and accounts receivable management performance to meet short term strategic goals. You will assess the impact of alternatives and recommend business solutions. You must have strong management skills to effectively drive change with the physicians and practice level leadership. You will support and adhere to the Corporate Compliance Program, to include Code of Ethics and Business Standards
Work with corporate and practice management teams to oversee and review collection reports to identify payer and other collection issues. Develop and implement practice specific process improvement recommendations to secure positive results, monitor performance and improvement resolution plans for unfavorable trends.
Liaison with practice and business office staff to resolve issues and outstanding problems in the area of A/R management and the Revenue Cycle process. Develop and reach consensus with practice leadership concerning identified problem areas and pursuing recommended solutions.
Maintain reimbursement related key performance indicators for network practices, setting and benchmarking Revenue Cycle goals.
Participate in the development of Reimbursement Policy and Procedures.
Provides on-going job related education and training of staff.
Candidate Profile and Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related discipline. CPC, CCS-P preferred.
2. 7+ years of revenue cycle management experience plus 2+ years project management or supervisory experience.
3. Significant experience with revenue cycle best practices.
4. Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish) a plus.
